The British Library

We saw some incredible documents at the British Library:  The Magna Carta;  a hand written notebook by Virginia Woolf with portions of Mrs. Dalloway under its original title, "The Hours"; a Gutenberg Bible; a Handel Messiah score; the earliest known Shakespeare's folio, handwritten lyrics for the Beatles' "Yesterday."  Unbelievable things.

Of course, all of these documents are light sensitive and not available for photographing.  We did take a few pictures, though, to commemorate our visit.

Loved these stylized trees in the courtyard of the British Library

Jordan sitting on a book in the foyer of the British Library

The Library was hosting a special exhibition on science fiction.
