We encountered this vegetable in the Food Halls at Harrod's.
It is called Romanesco, and is a cross between cauliflower and broccoli.
As you can see, it is incredibly beautiful. I'll have to see if it is available in the Colonies.
Would love to have the opportunity to serve this dish.
Did you taste it? Did it taste good enough to share with others? It almost looks like it would make a lovely centerpiece on a table instead of eating it!
ReplyDeleteDidn't get the opportunity to taste it. The sign said it tastes like cauliflower. I can live with that, pretty cauliflower.
